Great example of the fabulous Peruvian kitchen. A cozy setup with a friendly young staff and a diverse menu full of highlights from the Peruvian kitchen, from fresh ceviches to slow cooked soups, at mid-range prices. (The only glitch was paying nearly $9 for six yuca fries.Yes, six. That was not cool). Bottomline - a good place for a casual flavorful meal.Makes you think that the Bay Area needs more Peruvian restaurants!
Owner response
Thank you for your feedback! Yuca frita is pretty expensive now and it also comes with its own dipping sauce and 7 pieces and we are aware of the price glitches on the menu but they have been fixed for a new menu to debut tommorow so we apologize for the confusion! Thank you so much for being a valued customer:)
The food here is actually so good!! Highly recommend the arroz con mariscos which was my favorite.Good amount of seafood and deep flavor. Also a big portion. The lomo saltado was good too, the filet mignon was very tender and not dry.Love the combination with the onions. The ceviche trio was tasty as well if you like sour foods. Service was amazing, we enjoyed everything she recommended! Definitely come visit and get the arroz con mariscos!!! It's like a Peruvian paella, I was a huge fan.
I overall love this place. The waiter was very friendly and the service was great. The place is clean and decent.I gave 4 stars for food mainly because I wasn't too happy with my dish, I ordered a Trio Ceviche, and even though it's fresh and tasty, I expected it to be a bit more sour and slightly less salty. It's just my personal taste, I guess. But my friends were very happy with their orders, so I would recommend this place.
