Indian restaurant
Butter chicken is good, however, one time I've ordered and it was too much grease in it to enjoy. The veggies taste frozen, I didnt like them. The naan bread is great and you get two large pieces. The mango lassi is thick, gets warm pretty quick..place in the freezer for a while before enjoying. Need more ventilation within the establishment, all the spices mixed in the air causes one to choke and cough. The small fan they have blowing definitely isn't doing it's job.
Owner response
Hi, Thanks for trying our buttery-butter chicken.I am sorry this not grease just topping with touch of real butter. If you don't like butter then try Chicken Tikka masala.Or ask for no extra butter on butter chicken.
I had been eyeing this place for a while because it is conveniently located near my workplace.I placed an online order for two orders of vegetable samosas, vegetable biryani, and chicken tikka masala. The online ordering went well, but the email they send you for the pickup time says "ASAP." I went expecting it would be no longer than 10 or 15 minutes but I waited 35 minutes. It would have been easier for me to know the exact time to come.I sat inside, as patiently as I could be, until I started sweating. It was very hot in there and there was no air circulating.I wanted to leave very badly, but stuck it through assuming my food would be ready quickly. After receiving my food, I can say it was pretty good.It was very fresh and very hot.The samosas tasted very good, but I only had one sauce for an order of two.The chicken tikka masala looked great and had a great consistency, but there was more sauce than chicken; eventually, I had to finish my rice with just sauce because there was not enough chicken. The vegetable biryani looked good; nothing to write home about.Overall, I would return, but I know now to go about thirty minutes after placing my order.
I would do NO stars if I could.I ordered veggie curry and the food was spoiled. They had added some water on it to make it look better but that didn't help covering the horrible smell and the taste.I would expect meat to go bad in a few days, but how long did the veggie stayed in the cooler for it to go this bad.The chef must have known that the food was bad, so he or she added water on it to make it look better.
