For budget dining it's a great deal - tasty, well prepared, very generous portions.
There are only two tables - it's mostly for take-out and delivery.
The whole area is full of nice little mom-and-pop ethnic restaurants.
Have tried most of them but this was my first visit to Ichiban.
I'll return.

Every dish I ordered arrived hot but tastes bad.
Food cooked completely unseasoned, there is not a single bit of salt or pepper on any of it.
The rice is simultaneously over and under done.
Our fried rice doesn’t taste right and the meat is over cooked too.
Absolutely do not order the steak hibachi, the cut of the meat is terrible and so over cooked that it’s hard to chew.
The General Tsos tastes freezer burned and the sweet and sour chicken is very bland even with the sauce.
I’m disappointed because every other time I’ve eaten here I’ve enjoyed it.

I used to eat here all the time - maybe 10yrs ago.
It’s not the same as it was and the price is higher which of course everything is but at least improve on quality to justify price.
Just like everyone else has stated there’s no seasoning on their food, pretty bland now.
The place I prefer is closed on Tuesdays so I ended up going here but I won’t be returning here anytime soon.
