This BOMB! This place is definitely worth driving off the highway to get to.Lunch special was good but the chop brisket sandwich was a little sweet.The sausage was very good but a little spicy.I saw people eating the jalapeño sausage and they said it was good.The sides were great and you can’t beat the free homemade desserts.Peach cobbler with ice cream and banana pudding. Delicious!
Super tender sliced brisket.It would get a 5-star if I wasn't aware that there is even better than this.Flavor was good but could be enhanced (maybe with a bit more salt & pepper). Pork ribs are very well smoked, both extremely tender and flavorful. Sauces are a bit runny, but tasty (tangy and spicy). Lots of sides offered.I got the green beans, which were excellent. Mac & cheese was recommended and did not disappoint.Rich and creamy cheese on perfectly tender macaroni noodles. Overall a great experience. Staff was pleasant and helpful, dining area is rustic but clean.I enjoyed the background music as well.
Absolutely phenomenal. The wait was more than worth it even tho the line was down the block.Everything was absolutely delicious and everyone in our party left having eaten way too much. Service was some of the best we have had in Dallas.The staff was super friendly and helpful, as well as appropriately attentive.Can't really say enough good stuff about them. The atmosphere is an experience all on its own in a way, but together with the rest of it, just makes the whole thing that much better.
