Little gem.Dog friendly. The manager was awesome. They welcome your pets and offer them a water bowl + bits of bacon🥓 The drinks were good, not extremely sweet.I ordered the cranberry mule, and it was very refreshing. The Take me to pear'is was phenomonal! I ordered the steak chicharron tacos, and some Brussels sprouts and tried the banana bread pudding! The server was very tentative to our needs also. I'll be returning to try their brunch menu!
My wife and I came here for brunch. We were very excited based on the menu and atmosphere. The food sounded amazing and the atmosphere was very inviting. Our server was amazing. Let's start with the positive. The plating was really good. The food came out and it made you want to dive right in. The deviled eggs were OK.They were lacking salt and pepper and the bacon on tip tasted like bacon bits. They were lacking seasoning. The overwhelming flavor was more of a mustard flavor. The sugar bacon app looked great. The pork belly was fried well.It had a nice crisp and was still moist inside and the peach chutney went really well with it.However, the pork itself had no seasoning on it and was very bland. There was also not enough of the peach chutney to compensate for the lack of seasoning on the pork. They also put the peach chutney on the chicharrons which made them kind of soggy. My adult biscuits and gravy also looked great but was lacking a lot of flavor. The gravy was tasty but it was overwhelmed with pepper flavor. The sausage in it was ground so fine that you would not have even noticed it.The eggs had so salt and pepper and by themselves were very bland.I did like the addition of jalapeño because it added a nice heat but that's about all I enjoyed with that dish. My wife had the short rib omelet.Again it looked really good but had no flavor. It didn't taste like there was much love in it.The eggs and short rib lacked salt and pepper. However, she did enjoy her sangria. Overall, based on our experience, and again everyone's flavor profile is different but we did not enjoy the food.It looked beautiful but was lacking flavor.
Was passing through McKinney on our way back to Texarkana and decided to stop and try it.We were very impressed. Our Server (either Jeremy or Jeffrey) was awesome. He recommended some drinks to my Husband and some Appetizers. All of food was amazing. The Ribeye was so tender. The drinks are so good
