The Curry Shrimp had a very good taste to it.The Curry wasnât over powering, and blended very will with the cabbage.I also liked how the curry had a Subtle heat to it.The cabbage and planteen was also prepared nicely. No issues with this dish.It had the right price, and the right portions. Please be mindful of your environment when visiting this wonderful please to buy authentic Caribbean food.
Heard about the chicken soup, so after a busy steady work day I decided to go and patronize my Jamaican business.I asked for chicken soup and the price.Jennifer said the small was $5 and some change, the large was $8.49 I believe, so I said Iâll take the large and extra dumplings. She repliedâ only 2 dumplings! Have to have enough to go aroundâ! I said Iâm not giving you almost 9$ for 2 dumplings, have a nice day.So I went to the market bought my chicken and had the veggies and coconut milk on hand and I made plenty Mon! Delicious dumplings! So I wonât ever go there again. I was thinking of a true business man( really a Jewish merchant) he wouldâve sold me as many dumplings as I was willing to buy and wouldâve made more to keep me coming back.JSđ¤
Good Jamaican food. Its a hole in the wall kinda place. At least half a dozen meal options at any time during the day.Oxtail, stew beef, stew chicken, curry goat, patties etc.The owner is a nice Jamaica elder lady who has her bizniz for sometime and aims to please. Parking might be an issue and prepare to see loiters hanging about. You can order and be out in a few minutes or order via Doordash.
