The Snapper was rubbery, smaller than the photos, very dry, and not seasoned well at all.
I couldn't even eat it and had to trash the whole plate.
The fries were decent....just basic crinkle-cut fries with ranch dusted on them.
I definitely had higher expectations.

Where should I begin? There has been a significant change from three years ago to two days ago.
As far as I can tell, the building does not look like that.
It appears to have been hit by a tornado and is taking some time to get it back to normal.
It really looks like a hole 🕳️ in the wall. However, do not drive past it.
It was a delicious red snapper.
There is no doubt that you are eating snapper and not a bottom-feeding scavenger that feeds on anything in freshwater.
Let me not mislead you.
I eat seafood of that category (in limited quantities) as well. Nonetheless, the fish and conch fritters were tasty.
There is a good taste of conch, but there is a lot of batter.
You can tell the fritters had real conchs because you cannot miss the texture of the conch.
Try the fried conchs.
There are chunks of conches in every bite.
😋 The fries were … meh.
🫤 They were “nothing to write home about.” But I didn’t go there for their fries. My ONLY real complaint…? The white powder.
There was white powder everywhere.
Had it been in Miami, I’d be afraid to my lap look like that.
There was flour or some type of powder everywhere. What about customers service? Customer service was great.
She was patient and courteous. What else would I like to share? You will not hear me complaining about the flavor or the freshness.
I highly recommend a stop there.
I look forward to making another pitstop when I’m in the area.
😊 Edit It was interesting to read some of the reviews about the red snapper.
You would know if you knew ANYTHING about eating fish that most fish absorb seasoning to the point where you might be eating chicken passed for fish without being aware of it, unless you are able to differentiate between sea food and meat textures.
There was nothing wrong with the red snapper.
Some individuals found the dish to be lacking in seasoning.
Don't worry about them.
Those with a "well-seasoned" palate will understand what I mean when I say that the red snapper was excellent.
The addition of any more seasoning would be similar to eating lobster tail without tasting its natural flavor.

First time going was about 2 weeks ago and order the family dinner which Included catfish.
Babyyy when I tell seasoned to perfection and cooked just how I like it.
I will definitely suggest you check this place out if you haven't already the wait wasn't to bad but I take quality over quantity anytime check out Hooks & Cook fish and chicken this is an honest post 😉
