Sushi restaurant, Restaurant
Small plates are my favorite here. The entrĂŠes are good (my son loves the peanut butter chicken) and people rave over the sushi (check out the sushi boat), but I choose Hiro 88 for the small plates. This time we chose the aisan short ribs, chicken lettuce wraps, chicken satay, spring rolls, and goyza.Other favorites are the green beans, Brussel sprouts and hot and sour soup. It's fun to taste all the different items and switch up the sauces.Everything was fresh and flavorful. We loved the short ribs this time- tender beef grilled to perfection. The atmosphere is modern and serene.Menus are by QR code but, the sticker on our table had been cleaned so often my phone couldn't read it.The server saw our attempts and provided a printed menu. The service was amazing. She gave us ordering suggestions, accommodated a special drink order, re-filled our drinks, cleared the plates, asked if we liked everything, all without hovering. In my book she did everything I appreciate from a server. It was a fun week night date.
I was charged a credit card processing fee and an âentertainmentâ fee. There was no âentertainmentâ and I shouldnât be responsible for paying an establishments CC fees. This reason I am not likely to come back for quite some time and definitely not recommend it to others. Food was decent and a bit pricey. The feel of the place is great but the waiter came off a bit rude.
Had an issue where the online order went to their downtown location, they ended up refunding me and making the order there. Some of the best customer service I could have asked for.I think this is my favorite location of the three.Highly recommend!
