My wife and I did a lot of eating out while on vacation and let me tell you High Cotton was the best place we ate.
The crab cakes were delicious! Brussel sprouts were cooked to perfection and seasoned just right.
Our lobster tail was meat candy and wish we ordered more! Finished the dinner off with some strawberry shortcake which was the perfect night cap! Don’t get me wrong, there are some great restaurants in Charleston but High Cotton was easily our favorite! A must stop!

We went for brunch and, surprisingly, were able to walk in without a reservation. Restaurant is beautiful in a traditional fine dining way, with a large wood paneled bar, that has seating as well. Service was typical for what you would expect, very attentive and did a wonderful job describing the menu. Food was delicious! I had the chicken and waffles, my husband had the scallops and grits.
I liked that the portion sizes weren't over sized, they were enough to fill you up, but not stuff you. Looking forward to getting back for dinner now!

Sooo yummy! We had an awesome dinner at High Cotton for our last night in Charleston.
Delicious drinks and food.
The oysters were fantastic and the she-crab soup was to die for! Our server was Alexandra and she was awesome and attentive! All the staff is constantly walking around offering more water, helping to bring out meals and clearing up plates.
Everyone had a smile on their face! Highly recommend!!
