Another concert at 713 Music Hall so another stop at the POST Market for some food before the show and decided to try Hawker due to the excellent reviews. Ordered Bulgogi Fries, Meat Platter, and the Beef Rendang (Smoked Beef Brisket) and almost everything was good.My friend thought that the Chicken Tikka Masala was way too salty but he enjoyed everything else on the Meat Platter. The Rendang was good but I thought it could be a little bit more tender.I grew up eating Indonesian beef rendang and I know that the Malaysian version is not as tender, but I'd had Malaysian rendang dishes that were more tender. So there's that. The Bulgogi Fries was awesome with plenty to share between the two of us.No complaints here. Just like everything else inside Post Market, this was a counter order so there's not really much in terms of what you can expect for service. However, after placing my order and giving my phone number (so they can text me when my order was ready), I never received a text to pick up my food. And I waited for a good minute too.I had to go back to the counter to check to see if my order was ready and apparently they'd been sitting on the counter for a bit.The cashier also claimed to have texted me so either she took my number wrong or she tried once and never tried again (because there's no way multiple texts would fail to reach me when I was receiving texts from others)
This restaurant is located inside the Post, near the back left of the dining area.I ordered from them for the first time this past weekend and was very happy with what I ordered.I was looking for a gluten-free dish (which there aren't very many of despite the numerous restaurants at the Post), so I ended up at Hawker. They offer a good variety of food for people with dietary restrictions, including a couple of vegan dishes.I ended up getting one of their vegan dishes: coconut rice with eggplant and curry sauce. It was delicious. However, I probably would get mild spice instead of medium if I ordered this again.(People who have a high tolerance for spice would probably like the medium.) On top of this, they have very expedient service. They text you when your order is ready and my order did come out rather quickly, especially compared to some of the other places. Overall, it was a good experience.

Solid option for anyone eating at The Post. The Hawker Chicken Wings were huge and had a great crunchy texture, but could’ve used a little more flavor on top of just the actual spice. The Chicken Tikka Masala main dish was fantastic.Every component was equally great and the overall bite really came together well, especially with the cheddar roti!
