Incredible date night spot! Vibes & music were great all evening.Service was attentive but not overwhelming… would highly recommend! Of course we had the corn bread… it lived up to the hype! Followed that up with the Meatloaf & Trout which both had very unique flavors. We ended with the brown butter chocolate chip cookies & date cake… incredible!! Also the drinks are expensive but it’s LA so it’s to be expected… we really enjoyed ours. 20% service charge built into total at the end of the meal!
In LA for a month and our adult kids sent us to one of their favorite places, now it is ours too.Gorgeous restaurant with garden (covered) seating and a beautifully designed interior. We started out with the special Old Fashioned cocktails.Expertly mixed.Don’t miss the cornbread or deviled eggs.My fav thing was the winter citrus salad and the grilled squid with beans.
I went for a networking dinner for work.Amazing customer service. We ordered things as a group and shared amongst the table, so the feedback is a consensus.Sorry in advance, I did terrible with pictures. Apps- Deviled eggs- smoky & flavorful, the bacon was crunchy and really good.Pickled vegetables- nice crunch and pickle flavor.Dates- very good.Cornbread- good flavor, but very wet center.undercooked (not pictured). Drinks- Watermelon margarita-delicious.Australian old fashioned- good, not traditional spicy. Western medicine- smoky, refreshing. A family secret- tastes like a refreshing bourbon punch. Arugula salad- okay.Nothing fancy.Figs were mushy for my liking. Duck- cooker perfectly.Crispy skin and good flavor. Overall the vibes/music and drinks are worth coming back. The food is pretty good and organic which is a plus.I'd recommend. Thanks Brooke!
