I've been to the Harry's in St.Augustine and though the food is great its hard to get in there so it was nice to find it here in Tallahassee and with no problems getting in.Our server was Gabe and he was awesome.Quick service with drinks, appetizers and entrees. The calamari was a bit over cooked but fresh no fishy taste and the breading was delicious. The bourbon Street salmon was so soft and went so well with the smashed potatoes. The chicken tenders were cripsy but so light and juicy. We plan to go back again.
The Pasta Chicken Louisianne and the Harry’s Signature Crab Cakes were both delicious. The sides of collard greens and french fries were excellent. The Blackberry Bramble was very refreshing. My only critique is the pasta and crab cakes were only warm.Would have liked them to be piping hot like the fries. It was late and after a long day of traveling we just didn’t have the time or energy to send them back.I’m sure they would have corrected them if we had.
I will start by saying I did come alone at 9:55 PM; however, they are open until 11 PM.It was just me.I got sat right away. The silverware was dirty.Never got an appetizer plate for the bread. My food was served after 2 other tables that had 2 & 4 people. It took until 10:35PM to get my main dish and my side salad was served after that..which I declined. The server offered a free dessert, but I didn't want to wait until 11PM to get it.He offered to see what the manager could help with, but then couldn't find the Manager.I would like to think this was an especially busy night, but there were several empty tables. In the end, he ended up camping my meal completely.Overall I give it three stars, three for the food in the atmosphere, and five for the server for trying his best.
