September 05, 2024I visited Gunther Toody's recently, excited to try their diner classic vibes. The atmosphere gives you a nostalgic 50s feel, but it felt a bit lacking in cleanliness. Our server, Shaggy, was a highlight - his energy was infectious!
The food, however, was where things fell short. My Chili Relleno and eggs were cold on arrival, and the hashbrowns missed the crispy mark. My wife enjoyed her waffle and crispy bacon, but our child's cinnamon roll pancakes were almost burnt on one side, making them inedible.
I hope they improve their kitchen efficiency; I see potential here! Overall, it’s a work in progress... 🍽
