Pizza restaurant, Meal delivery, Takeout restaurant
It's no longer called Grand Pizza due to new ownership. It's now Pronto Pizza.Although the menu and prices have changed, the service and food are still good.I went in and ordered 3 16in pizzas. The crust and sauce were delicious. For $35 I fed a bunch of hungry teens. I will definitely return as a repeat customer. The staff was polite and the place was clean. Please note it is no longer halal nor kosher as it was as Grand Pizza. There is take out, pick up and delivery only no dining in.
It's sad to see so many bad reviews.I went to the location on Alexander and Rainbow, I don't know if there are other locations. The woman Jen was very nice and cheerful. She and I had a bit of a conversation and she was very friendly.I thought the food was good and the place itself is very clean and well kept. The garlic holes(or whatever they are called) were bigger than I expected and very good. The food was filling and I enjoyed it.I will definitely go back sometime. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars was because the pizza was cold when I got home, however that's partially my fault because it took me 25 minutes to walk home.🤣
EDIT!!!!!!! CURRENT REVIEW: (As of May 2020) I ordered a 1 cheese and 1 pepperoni pizza for pick-up to share with my family at a nearby park and was very excited to have what was once my favorite pizza. To my horror, this was not in anyway, the pizza I once craved.Literally everything was different. The barely understandable broken English of the person taking my order over the phone was the first red flag. Then upon arrival, I discovered the restaurant no longer had any of the friendly faces that took pleasure in their job were working. The entire place felt chaotic and different, second red flag. Then once I opened the pizza boxes at the park, I was crushed. It resembled old middle school cafeteria pizza. It looked and smelled like the cardboard box it sat in and the taste...let's just say all the leftovers were tossed and most of the pizza was leftover.I have added pictures of this pizza to my post to compare to the previous pizza. It wasn't the same cheese or pizza sauce and wasn't even cut the same.I'm not exactly sure what happened to this restaurant but I am taking a guess that sometime shortly after the pandemic hit that this restaurant was sold to another owner who kept the name and number but everything else about it has changed for the worst. PREVIOUS REVIEW: Best pizza I have had in a long time.Received a free dessert for giving them a 5 star rating on Yelp and it was well earned. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly.
