Breakfast restaurant, Catering food and drink supplier, Lunch restaurant
OK so let’s get this review started….We went to Stacks & Yolks On Saturday, January 13 of 2034 for breakfast and we had a wait time of about two minutes, so not very long and we were greeted at the door just an average greeting.Nothing spectacular just average. The ambience in this particular restaurant seems very dated and homely.Once we were seated, we were given our menus and we ordered our drinks.I had a hot tea and my husband had decaffeinated coffee waitress.Maria was super kind and attentive.Let’s get that stated so this Review is not going to be about Maria‘s service because she was wonderful.!!! and I wanted to be known that Maria was tipped separately because she was amazing… Once we put our order in, I ordered the western skillet and my husband only wanted a single pancake. The pancake came fairly quickly then I had to wait about 15 minutes for my skillet to come ….When his pancake came, we noticed that the butter on his pancake, which it was a scoop of whipped butter., he spread it across the entire pancake, and the pancake was so cold that the thin layer of butter would not even melt…. After we waited 15 minutes for the skillet to come the waitress who dropped off the skillet her name was Cece and I showed her that the pancake was cold and the butter would not melt. She told me well. There are two different sides to the kitchen so I responded, but there’s just one ticket order , she immediately got offended and demonstrated a nasty attitude.I definitely was not comfortable sending anything back because I was afraid of what they would do to the food. Once my original waitress came to the table, I asked the name of the waitress that delivered my food and she saw me talking to Maria regarding the order. She proceeds to ye across the restaurant. My name is Cece or Cecilia.Clearly she has no etiquette. And when we finally went to the register to pay the check, the management wasn’t better. There was no apology. There was no making it right and for 2024.I will no longer be patronizing restaurants that treat me poorly. We work too hard for our money to spend it with these restaurants that mistreat their customers and I suggest you do the same!!!
Attempted the Stacks challenge! Whoa this was a lot of food.It was delicious but I couldn't finish lol.Only ate 2 pancakes but had a great time trying.Super friendly staff made it enjoyable.
Been wanting to try this place for years but it was always packed, finally woke up early enough on a Sunday to try it.First the menu was overwhelming to me, service was great, food came out really fast.Food tasted just OK, probably won't be back.
