I came here for a quick bite after work on a Monday night. The restaurant was pretty empty, but the kitchen was busy to fulfill all the online + takeout orders.I ordered the chicken thigh teriyaki bowl.It was prepared very quickly—was ready in about 5 minutes after ordering. It was pretty good, but not amazing.Good portions though! The restaurant’s interior is fairly minimal, but the seating cushions were not very clean, so I didn’t feel great about dining in.Either way, not a bad spot for a quick meal!
First time having lunch here with our interns and what a great surprise. The menu offerings is just right with the use of fresh ingredients and on point flavors. The staff was super friendly, can you order ahead for pick up or seat and dine in.The portions are generous as well.Overall if you want to treat yourself, this is a spot to check out
I think at some point, when Asian food was being introduced to the US, it was negotiated that it would have to be either fried, sweet, or both. This was almost a bland but healthy option, if it wasn't for a sugar sauce with a bit of chili that is poured all over the meat. They could at least warn you to what the experience will be...they did ask about the sauce, but apparently that was just in regards to the salad, and nevertheless they hand it to you separately, in a small plastic cup.The one that's bad for you is poured all over your choice of meat, which compared to the amount of rice, is very small. As I was eating, I noticed part of the staff having lunch as well. That's ok, but what annoyed me is that they where watching stuff on their cel phones with the speaker on high volume. What's up with that??
