I’m visiting Tallahassee from the Caribbean and we were searching high and low for Caribbean food after eating fast/American food for an entire week.
This place did not disappoint.
From the moment I went in to make my order and the host spoke to me in a raw Jamaican accent, I knew it would be good but the food honestly exceeded my expectations.
I had the BBQ jerk chicken with rice and peas and cabbage (pictured).
While I will say I barely got any peas, everything was AMAZING! The spice did become too much at about halfway through the plate so if you cannot handle heat, you should opt for something else.

I had jerked turkey with rice and peas and cabbage.
It was good.
It's not authentic jerk on a grill, more of a stewed turkey jerk sauce.
Rice and peas on point.
Beautiful location.
Get there early, most items were sold out

The restaurant was clean, well kept and a good temperature.
The food was delicious (and I can be picky) we tried the Oxtails and the curried goat.
The cabbage wasn't cooked to mush- which I appreciated, and it was served very quickly! Prices were market value/fair- for sure! And everyone that greeted me had a smile and polite conversation ensued.
I would highly recommend.
