September 30, 2024Gay Hawk Restaurant is a hidden gem in Memphis that serves up amazing soul food! 🌟 Their Sunday brunch is unbeatable, reminiscent of a grandmother’s feast. The fried chicken was perfectly crispy, while the sweet tea was a delightful complement. Don't miss the cornbread and turkey neck bone - it took me back to my childhood!
I did experience a wait for more food, but it was worth it. Just make sure to check with your server about freshness if you go on a Tuesday.
Sadly, they are temporarily closed, but I can't wait for them to reopen! 🍽️
