Fuse Sports Bar

Table for 4 for dinner We arrived at the Gaylord Resort on a Monday afternoon, eager to check out the holiday decorations, but we wanted to grab a bite first.
We already knew there were a bunch of restaurants scattered around the property.
We started searching on our phones, but it was a little challenging to find something that was open and something our differing taste buds could agree on.
Eventually, we settled on Fuse, though locating the place turned out to be the next hurdle.
After asking a few people and following a few signs, we finally tracked it down.
Fuse is definitely a casual sports bar.
We entered without a reservation and were seated immediately.
The dining room was very big with TVs everywhere.
Our server came by quickly for our drink order.
I asked about the beer choices, and he advised they had a Hazy IPA from Bearded Iris Brewing called Homestyle.
I ordered one and my youngest ordered one of the specialty drinks.
Wifey and my oldest ordered the pink lemonade.
The menu was not huge, and some family members were struggling to find something.
We finally made our decisions by the time our server came over.  I went for the Chicken Quesadilla, Wifey chose BBQ wings with a side of fries, my oldest ordered a Cheeseburger with fries, and the youngest settled on Cheese Fries.
It may sound straightforward, but there were a bunch of customizations.
Luckily, our server was friendly and accommodating.
The food arrived promptly, and tasted like what you would expect from a bar kitchen.
The fries were a hit, and I managed to snag a couple of wings from Wifey.
They were a nice size and tasted good.  My quesadilla was decent, nothing more.
The real winner was our server, but overall this place was a typical sports bar.

This was a shocker to me.
Not only did Zack, my waiter, point out the gluten free bun, he insisted that the chef wanted to come and speak to me.
When the chef arrived, he explained that they separate all foods served on a gluten free ticket from the rest to avoid cross contamination.
This shows the customer first mindset instead of allowing me to flounder around and get something that I probably shouldn't have.
I did have the burger in the gluten free bun and it was quite good. It was an alcohol free night for me but they have plenty of beer on tap and several in bottles (if memory serves).
Oh and Chef offered me two gluten free desserts.
I would have taken him up on one if I wasn't so full.
Absolutely would go here again.

We checked this place out while we were spending the night at the Opryland Hotel.
Our hostess "Maria" had a horrible attitude, not sure why, but was not friendly in the least, no name tag on, we had to ask our server.
Our server, however, was SUPER.
She made everything better.

She was super attentive to our needs! We stopped in for a quick appetizer.
We ordered Chicken Bacon Ranch Quesadillas.
They were poping, great bacon flavor with shredded chicken, these were excellent.
The fiancé's sweet tea was good, she said, sweet, dark in color with a robust tea flavor.
