I really really want to love this place, and the food I’ve gotten there has been pretty good.
But the atmosphere is not aligned with the quality you expect for food this price.
It feels like a random sub shop when you go inside.
I don’t mind paying a good amount for a bougie salad, in fact I love it.
But if I pay $30 for a salad (with steak) I don’t expect half of my greens to be kale stems and the red onions to be pathetic white chunks of the most intense fiery onion you’ve ever had burning my mouth.
And blue cheese? Haven’t heard of her! The steak was cooked perfectly and really good but was so thin it was practically gyro.
Still the Best part of the whole thing.
But I really wanted a luscious salad with steak and this was not that. So incredibly disappointed.
I used to come here regularly until I left NM in 2021 and this was my first time back here.
I won’t be making it a habit.

This fine establishment is in my top 5 for sure now.
Got the windy city sandwich with brussel sprouts wifey got the green chili burger with a egg and she gave the two thumbs up.
Got the peanut butter cheese cake for dessert and it was worth every penny.

We finally gave into the rave reviews and had to check out Fork and Fig for ourselves.
The expectations were high; everything we read said it would be great.
What we found out is everyone was wrong as it was so much better than we hoped it would be.
The food was amazing with great flavors paired with caring and thoughtful preparation.
You couldn't ask for more from this understated and unassuming culinary delight.
