Nah, 1st time trying 5 guys.Small and bland, Barely grilled meat, mushrooms and onions.American cheese only.Way overpriced and way overrated. They throw the fries on top of the burger in the bag which keeps the burger warm I guess but dumb access to burger.Skip the lame party trick and bag your burger separately.Vitamin water tasted slightly off.Maybe ask for salt in case your patties are as bland as mine.Maybe throw some kiddie American cheese on it to mask the lame meat flavor.Maybe just skip this hype and get a real burger off of a BBQ pit somewhere.1st guy smashed my lame Ms Baird's bun to smitherines and added ketchup, pickles and mustard when I told the slow register guy to remove. Not the slow guys fault for being slow upstairs. The dude that smashed my lame Baird's buns flat said I'll never go back to McDonald's or Short Stop after trying this (Short Stop here I come baby!).Pushed his vinegar condiment and pickle burger to the side (too acidic for my gut) and the slow guy made me another burger.Ate the bland tiny burger real fast and was left with too many fries.Skurrp! Skurrp! Next!
I'm giving this a 1 star review as I have had a bad customer experience with one of the employees here. I have gone through five guys training. You can ask for extra toppings for free. This guy says no extra cheese costs more. I call research blvd location and ask if cheese costs extra."No it's free". Unless the owner is just being cheap (benefit of the doubt that's not the case and just an uninformed employee) about extra cheese for free, which has to be a fraction of a dollar cost, then educate your employees. It's in the training videos when you start there. Google "free extra topping five guys" and you will see the results confirming it. I hope either this guy gets informed or if the owner changed the policy, then you are losing business over such a small cost. Not a smart move in my opinion. The fact that I'm even posting this has me worried that if I go back this employee is going to retaliate, mess up, or spit on my burger. He was also really hostile about it. Shame, good food, but that employee makes me not want to go to this location.
