Everything about Double Dave's was 5 stars: the customer service, the quality and taste of the food, and the delivery.
I had no issues with their online ordering (as mentioned in other reviews) and was able to find a coupon on their website for a great deal on two large pizzas for delivery on a Friday, and I recommend checking for their daily coupon to see what the special is.
For even just a simple 1-topping pizza, Double Dave's has successfully achieved the impossible by creating the perfect ratio of toppings to crust.
My two teenage sons and I were really impressed with the flavor! This is now our favorite pizza place.

We cut Double Dave's some slack during covid when the pepperoni in our pepperoni rolls was almost non-existent.
They were basically dry pizza dough.
We decided to try the pepperoni rolls again.
Same terrible food...there were barely any slices of pepperoni and NO cheese rolled up into a wad of bread.
Yuck! The poor quality is the only consistent thing at DD.
This used to be a great restaurant years ago.
There are too many great food choices in Austin, do not waste your money or time here.

Good pizzas, friendly staff.
Would be great if the pizzas were ready at scheduled time if it was ordered ahead online.
Waited 10 minutes beyond scheduled time after arrived to pick up
