Farmhouse Cafe

I enjoyed the Tuesday Blue Plate Special of Meatloaf with supreme potato casserole and tomato cucumber salad.
The food is all delicious and an excellent value for $12.95! The service is friendly and welcoming.
Some parts of the restaurant don’t seem as clean as they could be (the vent on the pink wall is very dirty with visible clumps of dust and dirt).
The men’s restroom was also less than great when it came to cleanliness.

Everything was delicious! I love that the menu has plenty of hearty selections as well as plenty of light selections.
The rolls and cornbread brought to the table with butter and jelly are homemade and a delightful start to the meal.
We ate the daily special, Poppyseed chicken, the chicken fajita ranch, wedge salad, fried green tomatoes, chicken salad, taco salad, and Salisbury steak.
Each person said they loved their meal and would eat it again.
Mr favorite bite was the fried green tomatoes.
Least favorite bite was the pinto beans.
The ranch tastes homemade.
We also shared a piece of buttermilk pie.
Tasted like grandma's.
The restaurant is light bright and not too noisy.
Our server Richard was friendly and knowledgeable.
The hostess that greets and seats was very nice and welcoming.
Plenty of free parking.

Stopped in to check out this little gem for lunch on Sunday while on way through town.
Was concerned that it would be too crowded due to the hour, but there was plenty of seating and parking.
The host greeted us with a smile at the entrance of this quaintly decorated farmhouse-type themed restaurant.
Shortly thereafter, Tyler offered superior, fast and attentive service as our waiter.
Food was delivered quickly.
Best part, for me, was the broccoli cornbread, which was sweet & moist.
Bread basket also had 2 large fluffy rolls with whipped butter and a scoop of strawberry jam on side.
Rolls were super fresh, but lacked sweetness of a yeast roll, sadly.
Had the egg rolls and a cup of tomato basil soup and both were just ok.
