I bet this is a great place if you're drinking alcoholic beverages. If you're not, it's just overpriced food.It wasn't bad but I was expecting fantastic and we only really liked one of the things we tried. With two adults, we opted to try three appetizers. The waygu steak dumplings were really good, though we didn't love the accompanying vegetables. The potato tacos were fine but not amazing, and the shrimp tostadas (aguaschiles verdes, I think was the dish name) tasted like salsa plus shrimp -- not bad, but also not super appetizing for actual food. Our server was great though, even though he was definitely disappointed when we asked about mocktails.
The queso is AMAZING.Unique, fresh, and just so, so, good. Wish you could add chicken or steak and make a meal out of it.The birria pot stickers are also fantastic.Morgan our server was super friendly, helpful, and fun, and you can tell she enjoys her job there. Will definitely be back!
Espiritu is a fantastic local place.Food is upscale Mexican with a focus on seafood and great cocktails. We loved the seasonal ceviche and the dumplings are not be missed. The oysters were fresh and it has a sauce with a bit of kick. The sophisticated cocktail menu is delicious though the descriptions are a little hard to decipher. Definitely a fun local crowd and a homey vibe. And thanks to Morgan for the attentive service. We will be back! Oh- and if you like key lime pie, their version is a must try!
