Five stars all around!!! Staff was AMAZING, super friendly and patient while we decided what to order. We went with the K.C.Melt and after we finished eating it we ended up ordering two more to go!! The meat was tender and delicious. The Philly melt was just okay, wouldn’t recommend that one.But the meat was still really good inside just different than expected.
OBSESSED with this place! Love the shack situation. The staff could not have been nicer if they tried.Dry rub ribs were so fall-off-the-bone tender that I couldn’t even pick them up.Brisket was so juicy and buttery.Coleslaw was some of the best I’ve had.Loved the BBQ beans.Highly recommend!
Ok, so we came through down from Minnesota and the wife told me to find the best BBQ in Memphis that is dog friendly, So many places popped up that were over 4 stars.only a few were above 4.5 and this place has earned the 4.7 and is actually very underrated still at the current score. The covered patio made it great for the rainy weather today.I was prepared to stay in the car and keep an eye on the dogs but the covered patio really made it a step above so many other dog friendly eateries. I love when a server notices my drink is low, but the dude that served us noticed the dogs water was low and filled it.That was A+ service there. The youngest child and I went halvsies on a Debris Po Boy and the Red Headed Stepchild.Wife got herself the Three Meat Platter of Brisket, Pulled Pork and Debris, the toast that came with it really showed some feistiness with a sprinkling of some chili powder blend. The boy and I devoured the Sammiches.I tried to convince him that the Debris was too spicy in hopes I could have the whole thing along with his half the sandwich but he enjoyed the burn. The Debris sandwich is unlike anything I have had before. It's an amalgam of all the bits that fall off or ends of all the different meats that they lovingly craft here.I like a crafty waste reduction method, double kudos for making it work so well. The Red Headed Stepchild was a very flavourful sweet and tangy affair. The slaw was very creamy with a slight spicy background. I don't normally go to a place twice, I like to try as many different places on a trip, but I am very sure I am going to be navigating us back to this place in a week on our way back home.
