El Tapatio Restaurant is a cozy gem for Mexican cuisine in Portland! 🌮 We were greeted warmly and quickly served crispy, freshly fried chips with a spicy salsa that hit the spot. The chicken enchiladas were expertly prepared - definitely among the best I’ve had here!

The highlight was undoubtedly the fried ice cream, a delightful treat topped with whipped cream and chocolate sauce. 🍦

The atmosphere is casual and perfect for groups or solo diners alike. Just a heads up: check their hours before heading out, as they might close earlier than advertised. Overall, worth every penny for the delicious food and friendly service! Can’t wait to return!
