El Greco Restaurant

The food was average and earned both of the stars.
The price was too high for the quality of food.
The service however was the worst.
The server was rude and unhelpful.
She acted like the customers were idiots.
The staff argued in front of the customers, overall negative environment.
If you have a big family don’t go to this “family restaurant” because they are not accepting parties over six.

It was very good experience.
The seating for 3: Me, my son and his gf.
Went quickly.
The variety of food selection was very good.
We ordered appetizers and before we ate some, our main dishes were served.
So even if the parking lot seemed full, food prep time to me seemed very quick.
I think from ordering to serving, it was probably 15-20 mins? Overall, I really liked this experience.
Who knows what it will be like a year from now? But if you're needing a place to try that is pretty much a fusion of different cultures, give El Greco a try.

I honestly do not know why El Greco would receive anything less than 5 stars! I have been coming here for the better part of 25 years and it is always reliable for a filling meal. My wife and I came here over a year ago, as I talked it up.
However, this recent trip was for breakfast and did not disappoint.
She got the bacon eggs benedict and I got the meat lovers skillet.
She then got a sticky bun and a bearclaw to go. The eggs benedict were a massive portion and the sauce was almost too thick and rich, but she made do! The meat lovers skillet was amazing as it was SO full of sausage, ham, and bacon! If you like meat, this is the one for you! The sticky bun and almond horn were nice and sweet, making for a good aperitif. The dessert case is so full of goodness that we wanted a bit of everything.
Too bad we had other plans for today and it would have gone bad. When in Milwaukee, make sure you stop by and get some heaping portions and great dessert!
