Tex-Mex restaurant, Breakfast restaurant, Restaurant
Stumbled on this place while traveling through ATX.Everyone was so friendly. They made our morning a little brighter. And hot dang…the breakfast chorizo burrito crushed it.This place is a must stop! Before you go snag a bunch of that green sauce. It’s next level yum.
I’ve never been inside the restaurant, so I can’t speak to atmosphere, aesthetics, or service. So one star off on that front. But what I can say is, that every item I’ve had off the menu is delicious… Though however, their salsas take it a step above.I would buy their salsa in stores. Better than Torchy’s, better than Freebirds, etc…
If you haven’t gone food shopping and want to eat something that has any actual nutritional value after working out at the golds down the street this is your spot. It’s the closest non fast food spot from the gym so I decided to try it out since I haven’t been food shopping yet and I didn’t want to ruin my whole workout by eating one of the numerous fast food restaurants nearby. The tacos were good.Literally no complaints, they’re less than 5$ each and reasonably sized.2 should have you full but not stuffed.I also got a fruit cup since I’m trying to eat healthy and for the amount of fruit you get I’d say it justifies the price to be honest. The tacos themselves weren’t mind blowing must have tacos in a city known for tacos but they’re very good and I wasn’t disappointed.I also got a chocolate chip cookie since who cares about gains… and it tasted better than a grocery store cookie, it was surprisingly good for a Mexican spot Overall it’s a good place in an area that doesn’t have a lot of immediate non fast food dining options.I’d recommend trying it out
