Asian restaurant, Buffet restaurant
This is the 2nd time I have visited this buffet within a couple of days since visiting Austin. The buffet had a lot of options to choose from, and the food was fresh. On the weekends, they had seafood selections more than the weekdays.Price is decent, but this place stands out because of the quality of the food. The sushi and salads were on point. The service was great and our waiter was great too.Overall, this place is great, and if you happen to be visiting or live in Austin, check them out.For now, this is my place to go when visiting Austin.
It is very strong â4 starsâ for Chinese restaurant. Food and service are really good. For the amount of people there who constantly were doing mess when serving themselves the place looked very clean.I was surprised with amount of crabs and barbecue what is not very typical for Chinese restaurants, at least not in another states.
This plate LOOKS GOOD, doesnât it? It was not âšď¸ Believe the bad reviews! I let the few positive reviews convince me it wasnât going to be that bad and it was SO bad.Iâm the type of person that will eat anyyyything, but I spit out more than I ate here. The hot foods were cold, the cold foods were hot, the blue crab was good for a moment but the second round was so mushy.Crawfish were mushy. The only thing i genuinely enjoyed was the teriyaki chicken, and i tried just about everything on the buffet to get my moneyâs worth. There was one decent sushi roll, but the rest were not even comparable to HEB sushi. And all lukewarm. My boyfriend is pickier and he tried the first round of chicken dishes and he was out.He couldnât even eat the desserts, he was so grossed out. There was also a hair in my silverware. As a former server i usually just ignore one little hair (i probably shouldnât but w/e), but what I couldnât ignore was the crust and filth on the wall in our booth. It was not sanitary and very offputting. And as a longtime service industry worker, I WILL judge for that.It takes 10 seconds per table at the end of the night to just spray and wipe with a rag for each booth, the owners clearly do not care about their restaurant or reputation. Itâs a big pretty building with a long buffet line, but just not worth it.
