Mexican restaurant, Restaurant
After our first visit, I can understand the mixed reviews. The location and atmosphere is awesome.Wait staff is great. Food was generally good, but took a very long time to come out.Chips were meh to say the least, but salsa was good So, overall out of worth a visit if you know what to expect. If you want fast, don’t go.If you want high end, not for you. If you want solid food with good staff in a really cool atmosphere - give it a try!
Great food and great experience trying El Charro for the first time. The history of the restaurant is very cool! The food was good.I would definitely come back to try more of the menu.Good portion sizes, too. Some true, authentic Mexican dishes here! Definitely would recommend it. PS.Make a reservation, or you'll be waiting for a long time. Also, the parking lot is pay to park.
We had an absolute blast at El Charro. It was so quaint. We sat outside in the courtyard, and they had heaters for the light chill that was on that night. We even got lucky, and there was a birthday party for a young woman, and they had mariachis for her, so we got to listen to that the food was absolutely excellent, we had the really thin, crisp cheese pizza type appetizer, which was so unique and different from a regular quesadilla. We had the street taco assorted plate, steak fajitas, seafood enchilada, and the short rib enchiladas every single dish was perfectly prepared We did have to wait an hour.We got there at 5:40 without a reservation, but it went by quick.
