El Caporal #1 is a cozy spot that brings authentic Mexican flavors to Sylmar. I absolutely loved the garlic shrimp plate; it was fresh and packed with flavor. The finely chopped meats in the carne asada and al pastor tacos are truly addictive! The chips paired with their zesty green salsa were a perfect starter.

While my birria didn't meet expectations and left me feeling queasy, the service was quick and friendly. I’ll be back for the shrimp tostadas - can't wait for round two! 🌮
