Eddie, confirmed he’s not the owner, really took good care of us! The seafood tower we ordered was good but the oysters are rather small (a disappointment).The shrimp entree was excellent and rather meaty! Absolutely love the Crab meat fried rice on the side, very good value!!! My colleague said that the sea bass is delicious but not sure what’s the meaning of Hong Kong style 🤣🤣🤣 The atmosphere of the restaurant is on the posh side.Everyone is very attentive and strive to provide good service! This is a restaurant we chose for business meal, so it served the purposes.
This is one of the best prime seafood restaurants in San Diego and for good reason.With their “business casual” required attire, the atmosphere is high class.While this is touted as being well known for seafood, they’re also are known for their steaks. I have attached a copy of the menu as of Saturday, December 16, 2023. All of the dishes were spot on.All met expectations.We had the shrimp cocktail (you get 4 prawns), the steak tartar (made table side), the lobster bisque (generous portion of lobster), scallops from George’s bank (5 scallops - generous size), filet 10oz (cooked exactly as requested, no asking for medium rare to get medium as you really wanted.Also no sauce option available on menu), lobster mashed potatoes, and asparagus. We went at 6pm and had a reservation.However, the restaurant was not full at all.Not even half.It did pick up at 7pm.Reservations were still highly suggested and can be booked on OpenTable app. We highly recommend Eddie V’s for any celebration.Do note, if you are celebrating an important occasion, they were giving out free champagne.Something to think about.
