I haven't been to a Doc Chey's in many years, and only once since the one in Asheville, NC, closed.I'm so glad I remembered this is here and got to stop in while in the area for work! Food, service, everything was absolutely amazing, and exactly how I remembered it still all these years later.I think there's something to be said for that.I'm glad the menu still has my faves.The Thai shrimp rolls may just change your life.This is the last remaining location, and I pray it never closes.Wish they'd come back to Asheville, but I'm definitely going to find any excuse I can to come back this way for work so I can stop in and relish in the goodness yet again!

Ate here tonight for the first time and tried the first thing I pointed to on the menu which were the shrimp spring rolls and the shrimp/beef eggplant stir fry.I never had eggplant cooked in that form and definitely became a fan.I then dipped my shrimp in the sweet and sour sauce and the flavors were a perfect match.I will definitely be returning to try something else new.The lady helping us name was Listia and she was amazing as well.She’s very sweet.We sat outside and it was the perfect setting.The place is clean and the sweet tea was on point as well.It taste like your normal southern sweet tea and it’s been hard to come by at some locations.
