Vegan, check.Great variety of menu options, check.Nice atomosphere and cool decor, check. If you are searching for a vegan restaurant with unique dishes search no more. This restaurant had a great variety of drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and many GF items as well. You order at the counter and the food is brought to the table. It took a bit of time to place our order. We were the only ones in line but the staff had a lot to do.We ordered the Buffalo cauliflower which were exceptionally crispy and not over watery like most are.The sauce was clearly house made and had it's own unique flavor. It wasn't over spicy and had a great healthy feel to it, if they sold jars of the sauce I would buy it.We also got an empanazza which was like a little hot pocket. It had a sort of soft pastry like texture and the filling was steamy and delicious, with an explosion of flavor. Lastly we got kimchi impossible sliders with vegan cheese.I cannot express how tasty these were. Many of the vegan burgers you go out and buy feel like veggie. This is fine for me but sometimes I'm craving an old school greasy burger and the way they prepare this impossible burger was nothing short of extravagant. If nothing else, get the sliders and prepare to be mind blown. All in all it is a great spot in the old north end.The food takes a bit to get to you so bring company and have a nice chat.My only real complaint is that the portions were on the smaller side but that is very typical for the more than a dozen vegan spots I have been to.
Visiting Burlington and decided to stop by for my 1st dinner in town.I decided to order a bunch of things to try for carry out: - House fries: 4/5, good flavor, but a bit soggy (this might be my own issue as I did carry out) - Artichoke dip: 5/5, I ordered the GF option which came with cape cod chips. The dip was delicious and had a great flavor. - Buffalo Cauliflower: 5/5, WOW were these delicious. The buffalo sauce was truly one of the best I have eaten. The cauliflower was firm and coated perfectly. The house made ranch was creamy.Definitely my favorite dish. - Empanada : 3/5, I don't love mushrooms, but wanted to give these a try because I do like jackfruit.I didn't quite love the taste on these, but that's my own personal preference.I did like the crispiness, and the cilantro lime cream dipping sauce was divine! - Classic Sliders: 5/5, These were SO good! I'm a fan of the impossible burger, but honestly it was the cheese and special sauce that made the sliders so tasty. Overall I really look forward to coming back to visit, Despacito will become one of my go-to restaurants while in town!
Get the sliders.SO good. One of the best overall burgers I’ve had actually.Great balance.Really thoughtful food deliciously prepared.Very cool vibe too as we came through on an open mic night and there was just such a wonderful amount of genuineness in the air.Highly recommend.
