Second time visit.My daughter and I ordered the Karaage japanese fried chicken and the Gaku pork bun appetizers along with 2 drinks.The chicken is fried with an eggless batter.My daughter has an egg allergy, so this was a wonderful find.Moist crispy fried chicken pieces with spashes of soy sauce.A mayonaise dipping sauce comes with it.We skipped this due to the egg allergy.The pork buns were delicious! The bun is fluffy with a great flavor.Inside is pulled pork with pickled vegetables.The tart from the vegetables alond with the savory pork make a great flavor combination.They had 2 special drinks that night.The sweet drink had vodka, midori melon liquor, and club soda.It was very good.It is a very sweet, strong green melon flavor.I had the high ball.Japanese whiskey, sake with some lovely citrus addition.Decor is clean and simple.Service is fast and very friendly.Parking on the street was difficult.We found a parking garage nearby for 8$/hr.
My wife and I visited last night.She ordered just apps, chicken, gyoza, cucumber and shishito peppers.All were amazing.I ordered the ramen with extra noodles.I also ordered extra spicy (menu option) because I like spicy.🙂 I would have liked to have tried it the regular way to compare because I think I would have liked it better.All in all, it was a great meal.If you're fortunate enough to get Kelly as your server, your night will be perfect, as ours was!
My first time having real ramen and I was not disappointed.The atmosphere was great.Pokémon and the Last Airbender were on the tvs. I had the chicken shoyu.The flavor profile was fantastic.Lots of depth.Generous portions and very filling. I needed a takeout container. My friend had the tonkotsu.Very different flavor but just as good. Wait staff was attentive, friendly, and efficient.We’d definitely go back to try some other menu items.
