Indian restaurant
Restaurants who otherwise cook animals will advertise via Grubhub that theyâre serving from a vegan kitchen.Itâs slightly misleading & Desi Village does this via âVegan Bowl Factoryâ on the app.My partner & I are firm believers in the karmic/pranic effects of animal products being prepared in the same kitchen as pure veg meals & otherwise wouldnât have ordered.Nonetheless, we wound up with a Chana Masala & an Aloo Gobhi style dish that were satisfying & the delivery was quick.I dislike leaving anything but good reviews for good meals, but falsely advertising for vegans is a no-no!
Food was delicious! Fast and friendly service, he was very attentive and to seeing that we enjoyed it and had enough of everything we needed and or wanted. Very friendly!
Walked into this quaint spot to try for the first time today.I ordered the chicken curry.Super flavorful sauce, tender chicken breast chunks and the Naan was delightfully filling.I ordered an extra slice of Naan, I had garlic btw.Paid over $22 including tip for a small lunch size. There could have been more chicken in the curry sauce (sauce a little thin, but still good) which was separate from the rice, but that is my only complaint. Will return hoping for a better proportioned amount in comparison to price next time.Overall experience was positive after the possible ownerâs husband came in greeted me, smiled and asked if everything was good.Felt like I was in their home dining room rather than an eatery, which one can debate as a positive or not so much.
