Craftsman Chop Co is a gem in Portage! 🌟 I visited for dinner and was immediately drawn in by the cozy ambiance, complete with a warm fireplace that enhances the relaxed vibe.
I tried the classic burger and it was cooked to perfection - juicy and bursting with flavor. The highlight, though, was their chocolate lava cake, which is truly a must-try! 🍰
The fast service made it an ideal stop, especially after a long day. Plus, I appreciated the wheelchair accessibility throughout the restaurant. Whether you’re dining solo or with family, this place is a win! Will definitely be back...!
The bad: Outdated dining area with dim lighting, and our waiter was extremely polite but had terrible body offer and it was extremely strong which isn't very pleasant while trying to eat dinner. The good: the drinks were very very strong and well made. The food was delicious and cooked perfectly with generous portions.
The food was really good 👍🏻 The service was a little questionable. I waited for someone to take my order. When they finally came, I just placed my entire order, afraid they wouldn't return. They brought my food.I didn't see anyone again until I put my credit card on the end of the table so I could get my receipt and pay.Never checked on me the entire meal. I'll give them another chance. It might have been a staffing shortage.I was there for the food anyway.
Our experience at the Chop Co was entirely pleasant. Our waitress was delightful and everyone was friendly. My hamburger was cooked exactly the way I ordered it, medium rare.My wife had the perch sandwich and said it was excellent. The prices are reasonable.I would go back if it wasn't 800 miles from home.
