I recently dined at Bab El Salam Restaurant, and it was a delightful experience! 🌟 The cozy atmosphere made it perfect for a casual dinner. I enjoyed their falafel platter – perfectly crispy and full of flavor, paired with a refreshing tabbouleh. Their tea selection is impressive; I recommend trying the mint tea!
Service was impressively fast, and they offer plenty of healthy and vegetarian options. Plus, the restaurant is very accessible, which is a big plus. I can't wait to return for lunch! ☕🥗
Stopped by here during a road trip and was pleasantly surprised with the amount and quality of food. The kabobs were most and tasted really good and the grape leaves tasted pretty good.Only downside was that the fries I had weren’t as crunchy as the fries I’ve usually had and they felt a little soggy.Fottoush salad was yummy as well and I would recommend their garlic sauce and trying it with their falafel.
Absolutely love this place. They offer gluten, corn and dairy free options. The food is delicious and authentic. The vegetarian grape leaves and chicken kabobs are my favorite. The staff and owners are really nice and welcoming.I will return over and over ❤️
Seeing as I’ve been too the Middle East and I’m a food lover I had review this place.First lest start with the hummus and lamb.Well how was it you ask? Hands down the best hummus I have ever had and the lamb with it was the perfect topping. We had a gyro sandwich and I must say it’s the best gyro meat I’ve had in quite some time, it was full of flavor. Now onto the tabouli, this is the first time I’ve ever had this and I must say when paired with the hummus it’s amazing and again you can tell all the ingredients are super fresh. If you’re looking for good middle eastern cuisine this should be your ONLY stop in the Kalamazoo/ portage area. The service was awesome and the ladies there were super helpful with the menu and extremely nice.
