Good place for cheap Mexican food and margaritas.Kind of like a fancy Moe's/Chipotle with a choose your own adventure in terms of toppings, fillings, extras.Lots of choices.Great prices.Adorable drinks and quick service.Good appetizers, happy hour deal, and there are seasonal changes to the menu.Definitely worth it for the price.
Update: another AMAZING meal. This time we tried the Sweet Heat, Lucyâs Fire and Cali Green 𤤠If you love margaritas and/or Mexican food, Condado Tacos is a MUST try! For lunch you can get the âLunch Boxâ which comes with two street tacos, chips, and a cheese dip side. The tacos are hard shell with soft shell outside.Everything was DELICIOUS! LOVE the graphics on the bar and in the restaurant.Bartender was attentive and quick! Cannot wait to come back!
I donât know if they were just having an off night or what. But the food was AWFUL.We go to the Royal Oak location all the time and love it.I was really hungry after work and we needed a little date night, but didnât want to deal with the wait that Royal Oak usually has, because itâs smaller and not as much seating. It was pretty slow for a Friday night and they seemed to have plenty of staff in the back working. We ordered a margarita pitcher and dirty queso and half the chips were so stale they didnât even crunch. They were chewy, like theyâd been sitting out for more than a day. Then I ordered my usual, sweet heat and Lucyâs fire. When they were brought out, I didnât even recognize them and thought theyâd given me the wrong tacos, because like I said I know what those are supposed to look/taste like since we go to the other location all the time. All the toppings (corn, onions, tomatoes, etc..) were raw and ice cold, the cheese wasnât melted, and there was barely any meat at all, which probably contributed to it being so cold.I also donât think they put the stuffing between the soft and hard shells like they are supposed to.Definitely not up to the Condado standard we are used to. I asked the bartender if we could get them warmed up and she had the kitchen remake them, but the new ones were still freezing when they came out.I NEVER send food back and definitely not twice, so I just took them home and warmed up the tacos myself in the oven. I think weâll definitely stick to the other location from now on.We were really disappointed especially because we were so hungry and condadoâs tacos are not cheap!
