It's a small place with a great atmosphere, the owner was awsome. All you can eat for some of the items on the menu the food was great and they have different options for heat so if your a wimp like me you won't die, yes the food is served in containers, I think this makes it so they don't have to have a dishwasher and can just focus on the food.Give it a try ik other reviews might put them down but I can see they are starting to turn around
OK, it's time to close for a staff break and refresher so you can return to the good old days. This place used to be decent to good, but still expensive with small portions. Now it was just a waste of my 20 mins to get there, my $45 paid and now I'm ordering Pizza Hut.I swear I wouldn't have paid for this ish, but I sent my niece in to pickup.I didn't check until I got home. I received 4 oxtails for $20.They were so tough and dry, and my husband didn't even eat them.Tried hot sauce and still gave up. My cabbage had crunchy big parts. How is that possible? Cabbage is only crunchy for less than 4 minutes. It had to be raw. Also, the cabbage was sweet and oily.Again, you can't mess up cabbage.Worst case, just add salt and pepper.Uugh. Jerk chicken was a whole mess.Sauce is piled on top like whipped cream. The chicken is dry as paper inside and also, flavorless- other than the pile of jerk on top that has jellied from sitting.Scraped that off and still is inedible. Rice and peas were OK, but the rice was old and undercooked as well, slightly crunchy. The baby ate the rice. She liked it. Mac and cheese was flavorless too.Gave that to the baby as well. The kids are running the front counter, which is great...if they're responsible and professional...I'll leave it at that. I hope the owner comes back and gets her place together. But for these prices, and this experience, I'm good.
Owner response
This is Cocoa.I’m back now, I had injured myself and had back surgery.I truly apologize for the cook that I hired.I should’ve kept it in the family
Glad I gave this place a chance prior to reading the reviews. As I was waiting for my food I decided to read the reviews and really was questioning why I didn't read the reviews first. Anyways.Ordered oxtail and jerk chicken. Both were good. The rice was hard like someone else commented but it was good with the oxtail gravy.Didnt care too much for the cabbage but it wasnt horrible. The fresh pineapple ginger juice was really good too! Id come back.
