I recently visited Church's Texas Chicken on Westlane Rd, and it was quite the mixed bag! The atmosphere felt casual and family-friendly, which I appreciated.

I ordered the Tuesday special, and while the chicken had a nice crispy exterior, it was sadly hit or miss. Some pieces were fresh, while others were a bit questionable. The cornbread was gummy, and I found the biscuits far too dry for my liking.

The staff were friendly, but the unorganized vibe and wait times–42 minutes!–were a letdown. I'll think twice before returning... 😬
