Chicken restaurant, Family restaurant, Fast food restaurant
I wasn't sure what to expect as it's been many years since I've eaten at a Church's Chicken, but this trip (February 6th, 7:30pm) was surprisingly good. I just wanted chicken, no sides so wasn't sure what to order.I told the lady at the drive through speaker I wanted about 6 pieces and only thighs. She asked if I wanted original or spicy and I told her both and she told me to drive through. She had set me up with 2, three piece boxes and each came with a biscuit. The chicken was well breaded, very crispy but moist and well seasoned. Even the biscuits were pretty good, moist with a little sugar on top.Service was fast and friendly.
Fried chicken, especially the spicy, done right.Everything here is just what one should and could want from a fried chicken joint: swift friendly customer service from employees who keep it real, delicious chicken, excellent sides. Also legitimately love that the dining area is often empty since I like to be able to eat in privacy but find that most fast food places dining areas are often crowded and so I often don't feel comfortable enough to get comfortable enough to sit down and have a bite to eat before getting back on the go.In summary: this place simply doesn't get enough credit, so here's me to help change that.Keep up the good work y'all!
I don't usually write reviews, but my experience at this place was awful. It was my first time trying out Church's and I was genuinely excited about it.However, upon entering, I was met with rudeness. The lady at the front didn't acknowledge me and barely answered my questions, seemingly unable to communicate in English.Instead of trying to assist me with a smile or getting a translator, she just ignored me with a blank expression. The manager, Carmen, was incredibly rude as well.Even though I had placed an online order and provided her with my confirmation, she treated me as if I didn't deserve the food and gave me a hard time.It was shocking because when I asked to speak to the manager, she was the one in charge.Such behavior is unacceptable for a manager at any establishment, and I'm deeply disappointed by the actions of these employees.Furthermore, I noticed workers in the back drinking bottled water while cooking, which was unsanitary and chaotic.I will definitely never visit this location again .As a YouTube food reviewer, I was eager to visit this establishment and provide a positive review. However, my experience was so disappointing that I cannot give this place any stars. If you're looking for a place where the staff are unfriendly, then this is the spot for you.
