Takeout restaurant
Chung Mee Chinese Restaurant serves as a casual takeout spot in Baltimore's bustling dining scene. Their menu features comforting favorites perfect for lunch or dinner, such as bourbon chicken and egg rolls. However, recent reviews have raised concerns about food quality, with several diners noting overcooked noodles and bland flavors. While it has its loyal fans, consistency seems to be an issue. If you're in the mood for a quick bite, consider weighing your options before placing an order.

September 14, 2024Chung Mee Chinese Restaurant isn't hitting the mark for me anymore. My recent takeout experience had me excited for some comfort food, but unfortunately, it fell short.
I ordered shrimp yat gaw mein, egg foo yung, and egg rolls. The noodles felt overcooked, and the shrimp lacked flavor, drowning in a dark sauce. The egg foo yung was a soggy mess with watery gravy.
The egg rolls were decent, but overall, I left disappointed. I'd hoped for better given their past reputation. Maybe I'll try again someday... but not for a while.
