We've been coming to this restaurant ever since the early 1970s. It's one of those local gems that the locals love. Large menu selection and great tasty food. They have expanded since the first restaurant, but don't be surprised to have a slight wait due to popularity around meal times. I believe one can make a reservation? I feel the prices are very reasonable. Photos show a delicious cheese omelet and eggs Benedict. Best home fries I ever had. This is a definite must try if you are in the area and the wait staff are very friendly and accommodating, most being long time employees. Take note that they only accept cash.
Cash Only. Not a big deal. I actually appreciate a business that uses cash only. There is plenty of parking and easy for handicapped. The restaurant is clean and I liked the dinner atmosphere. The staff couldn’t be more friendly. They were just great. Our food came out very fast. I think the portions were on the small side. I really enjoyed my sausage biscuits and gravy. My wife though her waffles were bland. If we are in the area again I would stop in just because the staff was so pleasant.
There is good, very good, outstanding, top shelf, and then there is priceless, all 5 star levels in my book. The corned beef hash here is priceless, I knew so at first glance and my taste buds agreed as I shoveled it down quickly, pure lightly fluffed corn beef with a few hash browns, you won't find better. The lightly scrambled eggs were cooked perfect and covered in top shelf sausage gravy.I was given a choice between extra crisp hash browns or regular, I went with regular, spiced perfectly but I'd recommend the extra crisp.Great crew, keeping the steady flow of customers happy and moving.Yes, I say go here as soon as possible, you'll be very happy you did.
