Located on Washington Street in Middletown, Chipotle Mexican Grill offers a familiar fast-casual experience for fans of customizable Mexican cuisine. While many appreciate their fresh ingredients and variety, recent visits have raised concerns about food preparation and service quality. Diners have shared mixed reviews, noting issues like long wait times, missing ingredients, and overcooked meals. Despite the hiccups, Chipotle remains a popular choice for quick bites, but bringing patience might be wise for your visit.

I placed an online order for pick up at 10:50am. Simple order a burrito and chips and queso. The employees as a collective whole did not have all the food ready until around 11:25am. The employee hands me just my burrito and says they don’t have the chips for my chips and queso. So I waited for my order for 35 minutes only to get half of it. Awful experience and leadership at this location. Now I have to contact Chipotle to get reimbursed for my chips and queso to take more of my time. First photo from 11:14am showing the food is not ready and no online orders completed. 2nd photo showing the employee finally making my burrito.

We will never visit this store again.... We recently had a disappointing experience at Chipotle. While we usually enjoy their fresh ingredients and customizable options, this visit fell short. The biggest letdown was the chicken quesadilla. It was overcooked to the point of being burnt, making it inedible for the kids. The chicken was also incredibly salty. This was a huge disappointment, especially since it was for the little ones who were looking forward to their meal. Secondly, the veggie bowl that we ordered specifically requested fajita veggies. However, those were completely missing. This meant the bowl lacked the flavor and variety we were expecting. With the burnt quesadilla, it left the kids with very little they could actually enjoy. Overall, this Chipotle visit was a frustrating experience. The burnt food and missing ingredients made it a waste of money and left the kids hungry. We hope Chipotle can improve their quality control to ensure customers get the fresh and delicious food they expect.

So Sad, I stopped going to Wallingford for all these reasons so I tried Middletown. It was was worse than Wallingford.Walked in and the restaurant was dirty.I went ahead and ordered and when I got to the register to pay found out, there was no chips.I asked if I could wait while they’re making them and he just stared at me.Went to get a soda and there was no ice in the fountain machine. The portions were extremely small and the food was very dry I think I’m completely given up on chipotle
