Mexican restaurant
Our recent dining experience at this restaurant was a delightful surprise, especially as vegetarians.Often, we find that vegetarian dishes lack creativity, but here, the flavors were wonderfully elevated, using chiles and other spices that brought the dishes to life. The service matched the quality of the food, with attentive wait staff and a chef who was both friendly and humble, adding a personal touch to our meal.We left feeling not just fed, but truly catered to and appreciated. The only minor room for improvement was the cafe de olla, which didn't quite hit the mark, but their regular coffee was excellent.
Been coming here since they opened and it never misses.Every dish is great, service is always friendly and prices are fair.Have tried almost everything on the menu and it’s all excellent. Can’t miss the plantains, tlayuda con carne and the carne en su jugo.Support Chile Toreado!
Can't believe it took us 3 years to find this local gem! The food was amazing, to say the least. We tried the chicken milanesa & steak tortas, and the carne en su jugo - everything was spectacular!! Reminded us of a place that didn't survive the pandemic - so to find another authentic restaurant that puts so much love into what would normally just be a torta, we were ecstatic!! They even make homemade corn tortillas, the flavor which immediately took me to my childhood - soooo good! Worth every penny! Update: Went back today. The tlayuda con carne was amazing!! The presentation was beautiful & the taste was unreal.Too good!! Can't wait to bring my family back!
