I am from out of town and stopped in here for dinner.
The service was excellent, and I really liked the atmosphere in the restaurant.
Prices were also reasonable.
I got the bake potato soup and the shrimp scampi.
The bake potato soup was probably the best that I’ve had (though I haven’t had that many to be fair).
The shrimp scampi was good, but way too acidic for my taste.
Tasted like they squeezed a whole lemon into it (the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars).
The acidity was really a shame because the dish was excellently prepared otherwise.
The pasta was cooked well, the seasoning was great (even comes through the acidity), the tomatoes inside were just lovey, and the shrimp was fresh and well prepped.
If I have the opportunity in the future I would definitely stop by again and try another dish.

If you're looking for a restaurant that still has excellent food, service, and a quiet, peaceful atmosphere? Then Charlston's is the best choice.
When most restaurants went downhill post Covid, this establishment kept the bar high. The food isn't just good, it's excellent.
The chefs and their helpers carefully prepare each item.
You can tell they really care.
Their passion for great food and customer satisfaction is not only evident, it's rare these days. I had the Oven Roasted Half Chicken with mashed potatoes and some very tasty cowboy beans. My DW had The Original Chicken Tender Platter.

My waitress Ali was great, very tentative.
Food was very good, only issue was I had to he blackened mahi mahi, which was dry.
But paired with the corn, it was delicious.
