Mediterranean restaurant
Food was really fresh, went right at lunch time so the line was a little long, but it was worth the wait.
CAVA is my go to place for lunch, however that has changed.I usually get the Harissa Chicken bowl. The past few weeks the serving sizes on my bowl have been very poor. There is a very scarce amount of chicken and toppings served. The white saffron rice does not have any seasoning and the dressing tastes old refrigerated. The customer service is also poor, I have called the store several times and never get a response. The manager (old Mexican man) does a poor job at addressing my concerns and the cashier (African American male) has plenty of attitude when asking for utensils.Aside from that, the restaurant is always poorly maintained, trash cans are fool and it is very musty inside.Honestly I am not sure how this place has a grade A, this place deserves a C at most the way things are maintained. If you can stay AWAY from this place, I will no longer be dining here.
It’s one of my first times eating cava, it was good!! I got the grains bowl and had right rice, romaine, corn, tomatoes and cucumbers, onions, hummus, lentil tabbouleh, and added extra chicken.I added extra chicken because I wasn’t sure how much the regular amount was going to be and wanted to load up on protein - they delivered. The portion sizes were good - definitely felt full after my cava bowl.It included a side pita which did not feel as fresh and it was also stunningly small — California pita grill is still number one when it comes to pita bread on the side.I enjoyed the bowl and it was really good; would definitely recommend cava!! It’s a Mediterranean chain and fast on the food, good for in the go quick indecisive lunches.I wish the chicken was a little less spiced - and more plain though.Too many spices and seasoning can lead to feeling full and bloated afterwards — The reason why I give it three stars is also because it is pretty decent but there are other smaller chains I’ve had Mediterranean food at and the meat felt and tasted a bit more quality. It’s also a little pricey. But would definitely recommend trying cava at least once in your life!!
