Can’t give enough stars.Excellent steaks service and sweet tea, extra hallelujah for the tea.We had filet and sirloin, mushrooms seasoned to perfection.Steaks cooked perfectly as ordered.Filet melt in your mouth.Service was fast, wonderful attitude and kept drinks filled.Rolls were great. It’s a must eat at if in Oklahoma City. It’s the restaurant with the highest revenue in the state.A great story to go with it.Food was well worth the price
I'm only in Oklahoma City for one night, so I wanted to find a place that represents the city's iconic food.I discovered this restaurant because many people on Reddit recommended it.The ambiance was great, and the service was exceptional. However, the taste of the food was really mediocre.Perhaps I didn't order the right things.I wanted to try the chicken fried steak and the lamb fries since they are recommended as local iconic dishes. This restaurant has many mentions online, so I thought I wouldn't go wrong with those. The result was really disappointing; both dishes were bland, especially the chicken fried steak.I had to ask for some hot sauce to help me ease it down.I also ordered an item that was taken off the menu, the quarter-pound burger. After tasting it, I understand why it was removed; the patty was dry and had a chalky texture, tasting like freezer burn.If I were the restaurant owner, I would not serve any of the dishes I ordered tonight. The wait time was about 1 hour. For the quality of the food that I got, the wait wasn't worth it.What a shame.I had high expectations for this 114-year-old iconic restaurant.Hopefully, I'll come back again and try something else on the menu that will change my opinion of it.

We’re sorry you didn’t enjoy our chicken fried steak. We sincerely hope you’ll come back and enjoy what has put us on the map….our great steaks! We look forward to welcoming you back
1st time here.Service wasn't that great.Waitress was extremely rude and not very attainable. Catfish was good But, small portion..again Waitress was extremely rude to my elderly uncle who asked if he given a kids meal. This place is a historic older restaurant and you can definitely tell.Only hamburger they offer wasn't that great. It has a dark interior and booths are tight fit.Over has that rustic vibe.
