DO NOT GO HERE.They are extremely rude and I felt as though we were being racially discriminated against. The owner snatched the bottle out of my friend’s hand before we could check out.At the time it was 1:56am and they close at 2am.He said it was “too late” so we started heading out BUT as we were leaving, we saw two people (Asian) go in right after us and they let THEM buy their alcohol no issue whatsoever. We went back inside to confront them and ask why did they say it was “too late” for us when we were trying to buy BEFORE these people that just bought and left completely disregarding the fact that they came AFTER us.His only explanation was that it was “too late” again and mind you it was still before their closing time at this point. My friend is a Black/African and the two people they still let buy the alcohol were Asian and so was the owner. It is obvious he treated my friend different because of his race.It is sickening that in this day and age we have to suffer racial discrimination at a liquor store of all places. If you are a person of color, I highly recommend avoiding this place if you don’t want to risk having your night ruined when the people working here have no remorse in openly discriminating amongst their customers.Again, I want to emphasize that we are more upset with the way were treated differently than the fact that we were not able to get the alcohol.MAY GOD ENLIGHTEN THESE PEOPLE WITH SOME COMMON DECENCY.
I went there 15min before closing, as I was shopping he grabbed what I had in hand and told me it was too late, when I pointed out it was still 6min before closing he told me he didn’t have time and to leave, as I was looking up different options in the parking lot I saw 2 Asian men walk-in and to my surprise were able to purchase a bottle of liquor, I’m usually not the type to think I’m being treated differently because of my race but this time it was too obvious to refute.Sickening behavior.
Stopped in on a Sunday, I never go here, won't be back.Staff is very bias to all races and rude. It's also over priced....like 20 percent more
